Being investigated for theft ( but wanting to leave)

    hello all

i have been working for this company for about a year as a manager... A couple of days ago i was suspended from work due to suspecious transactions... The met with me the begining of the week... this job is on retail... aparently i pocketed £150 from a till... course i didnt... but after so much pressure on the meeting i just "confessed" ( because on my view i could leave that stupid job and go on with my life...) but now i keep suspended, they will investigate further and check all my transactions from last year till now... i want to write a notice letter and leave but also i dont want them to think i am quitting...

I am so confused can someone help me please?

I dont mind them talking those 150 pounds from my wage and all, i just want this to end... already consider suicide... have my parents to give money every month back home... i want to work...

can i give a formal notice even being under investigation?

    i need some advice please...

    thanks
