    Fired. Never got explanation

I worked for a company called _____ for almost 5 months, even before the actual store opened I was there helping BUILD the store. While it was under construction, one of the CEO's of the company worked with us. The original manager was fired because "he just rubbed him the wrong way", and then the assistant manager (whom im about to explain about) was made the manager, and I had a whole new load of work slapped onto my shoulders. I'm 18! I can't be expected to manage 5-9 employees at one time. Along with managing shipping, recieving, stocking, all while my manager sat around and talked on the phone or flirted with customers. Eventually I started hearing things from other employees, telling me that she was talking bad about me, saying I was "kissing a**" to try and make my way up to HER position. She was completely psychotic! The store was understaffed, and she refused to do anything about, while I worked 10 hour days, getting paid a measly $9/hr to do work that a store manager should be doing! Mind you, this woman was almost 45 years old. And she would curse in front of customers, and of course talk nasty about others behind their backs. One morning I came into work, I had called out of work that Saturday because I had a family emergency, only to be told that I had to be "let go" because they couldnt "work with my situation." Mind you, this didnt even come from the manager herself. The CEO working at the store for that period of time did. I never recieved a decent reason as to why and she flat-out lied to my mother when my own MOTHER went to figure it all out.
