My boss is dating one of the employees in my job. He often says he wants to fire people and these people are the same people that she does not like. He also has asked nearly every girl out and those who say yes get special treatment. A women filed a complaint against him that she was afraid that he was going to rape her, he tried to follow her into her hotel room while they were away on a business trip. Nothing happened to him. At another business trip he also attempted to get my coworker to "date" him. Long story short I am afraid that he will fire me, because he is highly unethical and his "friend" wants my job. I do not think I can go to my job and report him because I am afraid of loosing my job. What can I do.

America, and Georgia. I have heard Georgia is a right to work state so I can be fired for whatever reason. I will take whatever help you can offer. I am beginning to give up and have decided to loose twenty pounds in hopes he starts giving me better reviews. (like all the other girls) But ofcourse they are younger way younger. Stupid, I know. But he will win. He is that good. |

"Right to work" just means you don't have to join a union if you don't want to. I think what you're talking about is "at-will" and in fact, "at-will" has nothing to do with harassment. I recommend you take your issue to the federal EEOC and see what they say about it. And "at-will" or not, your boss cannot fire you for going to the EEOC. (He can still fire you for any other reason, but not specifically for going to the EEOC.) To find the EEOC, just google federal EEOC. And finally, losing 20 pounds just so you can get special treatment is not a good idea - you're just encouraging his possibly-illegal behaviour. |

Its employment at will which means they can fire you for whatever reason they want, but you dont have to give a two week notice when u quit which is looked down upon at other jobs so this law is a lose lose situation |

BiPolar boss: at-will doctrine DOES NOT apply to EEOC complaints. Employers are LEGALLY FORBIDDEN to fire employees specifically for making EEOC claims. |
