    Really bad situation at work

I work in a team of around twenty people it is made of of three groups. Group one the bullies, two the on lookers, three the victims. I am the main victim in group three. I have been with the company for 18months one of the main reasons as I am quite new. Anyhow the only way i can discribe it,is that they conspire to bring you down. They you are faced with difficult tense meeting in which you find you are fighting for your survival. To date i have won most of my battles there has been over twenty and despite being 43 years of age and a manager, I must confess I have cried in many of the confrontations. They are always so pointless, correction, the piont being to distroy ones confidence. The confusion for me is the motivation and the need to constantly reinacte the negative cycle. Group two just watch and prendent it is not happening. Group one have meeting to plan there next move. I am not embelishing it is real craazy. The punishment can be no payrise, more training and basic character distruction.

The boss is a real psyco, she is never happier than when she is sorting out a problem.

Last week after a period of ill health for her husband in which she was crying daily she came in and abused the very managers who had supported her through the crisis. it was mad real take your breath away stuff. I am writing this message because in the current econmic situation i just can not get away. I have some much family responsiablity that i can not think of resigning. Yet i am so depressed I find sleeping really hard. I am angrey at home and the family say i shout and get mad for the slightest things. I can not believe the stress i am under which has developed into some health problems.

I know i should confront it, do something but I can not help thinking why, what is the reason. There is nothing gained by the bullies except for the distruction of the victims. I might add the last person who did my job had a break down. Working with my psyco boss i know why.
