Need your help: Forgetful Boss positioning me "bad" in front of his Boss

I need your help. It's time for performance evaluation and my boss seems to be potitioning me bad or for failure with his boss. For example, he is forgeting how well I have achieved my deadlines and was unable to tell his boss that I have accomplished them on time! At the end of the day, his boss will make a decision regarding me and my peers based on whatever my boss says or shares with him, of course. So, I'm thinking about by passing my boss and send his boss an email showing that I have met my deadlines and will continue to do so. What do you think? Will my boss get mad and make things worse? Will his boss get mad and like me even less (he doesn't like working with women(with children)?
