my boss said today im rude to people if i am i dont realize it i try to be nice to everyone. i am a waitress and sometimes it is so busy and there is no help. we have 14 tables which i am expected to do on my own. my boss yelled at me today but wouldnt give me names so i could at least appoligize for offending anyone. which i certainly would because i live in small town and know most of the customers and would never intentionally offend anyone.

Reply: Your boss may legally fire you for being rude to customers. He is not legally required to give you people's names so that you can apologize to them. Sorry if I sound harsh - this is not intentional, I'm just telling you the facts. The best way to handle this (and keep your job) would be to ask your boss (nicely, politely!) what exactly the customers say you're doing/not doing that leads them to believe you're being rude. And then stop/start doing that, whatever it is.

Reply: how are your tips? If good who cares, suggest your boss get some drinksfor customers to help you out

Reply: watsonca, even if waitress2000's tips are GREAT, they're no help to her if she gets fired.
