What To Do When Employers Retaliate

"Federal law prohibits employers from retaliating against workers who complain about illegal bias on the job, even when these reports are later determined to be erroneous. Many states have similar laws. Employees who file complaints with governmental agencies or express their concerns solely within their organizations are protected."

Working as a casino dealer here in Las Vegas. I've found it extremely difficult to advance in a business that's run by cowers and bums. Dicrimination hurts everyone. Not just the individual. Alot of us are taking care of two families and sometimes three. What I mean is some pay child support. And others pay child support and take care of there ill parent or family member. But these evil employers don't see that. I was thought to believe that if you were being miss treated talked bad to and humiliated you could file a complaint with out retaliation. They put false information on your yearly evaluation. If you don't sign it they try and get yofor other trump up violations. The casino businees is not for kind at heart. You can't have any love for you fellow American-only his or her money. Once they step out of line-to say become educated too the fact there only beatiful as long as there money last. Once that's gone-YOU BECOME A PROBLEM! I opened my moth to management that I was being harassed by one of there own. They knew that He was assigned to me. And I must say he did a wonderful job at helping me lose my job. What a guy. All you want is that individual to die! Quickly. Nothing ever happen to that bad person. NOTHING! But God is good. This door was closed because I stood in it to long. Now I have good thing to look forword to. God bless you all. HAPPY NEW YEARS.

thank You for posting Your experience. i was recently fired after nearly 2 years of loyal service from a position that i loved dearly. The worst part of it was that the person i directly served and reported to didn't have the guts to give me my "Cease and Desist" notice; it was given to me by one of his subs. i never saw it coming to an end that way, although the end itself was inevitable. After many hours of pondering a counter-reponse and wondering why i wasn't told directly by the Sir who mentored me for those 2 years, i have found peace in heart by taking stock of myself rather than blaming others. Perhaps i had no business in that position to begin with, but it was a chance well worth taking. While i feel a terrible personal loss, i am truly grateful for the better person "i" have become because i took the chance. Anger and blame are blindfolds for fools; once released from the bondageofself, a new level of pureness and growth will begin. Screw the Roses -- Send the Thorns. We grow from pain or You buckle under it. This ain't no dress rehearsal -- It's life.
