My boss has the habit of using the phrases "a lot of people" and "everyone" when trying to prove that you are doing something wrong. This Friday my boss called me to her office and stated that my problem-solving skills and communication skills are not as good as they use to be and that "a lot of people" are complaining. I am a crier when I feel I am being falsely accused and that is just what I did, for over an hour. What frustrates me the most is when I asked her for actual examples, she had none. She was taking everything she heard from others on hearsay. She basically told me I was "guilty" until I could prove myself right. I have always been close with her but in the last several months, she has become really difficult to work with and has retreated from anything that might show she is your friend. Usually that would not be a big deal but for 10yrs she was approachable and know she seems cold and calculated. Luckily I save most of my emails so I can prove that I am CONSTANTLY communicating.
