The company that I work for (an independent oil company) sends sales reps to Chicago once a year for updated training. We always pay for flight and room and board and expense the cost. This time we are required to pay for the class also. In past years the company uses dealer development money that we earn from vendor sales. The vendor is ExxonMobil and they are the ones putting on the class. My company is now telling us that we have to pay for the class our self. Is this legal?
