    Boss completely two faced!

Just recently, I had a meeting with 2 of my bosses. It was a pretty productive meeting. I was complimented in my performance and was asked how they could help me or if they could be of any assistance. My reply was just to keep up the good work and keep supporting us. As I am leaving the office, I look back over my shoulder only to see one boss (the second in command) making a negative face to my head boss. WHAT? I guess I should've walked back in and said something because the "wolf" in sheeps clothing didn't know that I saw her. Both of these people have complained to me about my fellow employees and been totally unprofessional. Should I say something or let it go?

Reply: I think you should let it go. No boss likes to be called out on something, especially something the employee wasn't meant to see or know about. Whatever you say to the boss, and however you say it, you'll just going to end up alienating yourself. And ayway, how can you be so sure this "negative face" was about you? It could have been about practically anything - a loud noise, a sore stomach, a private joke between the two bosses, the prospect of their next meeting together, a tight waistband...anything at all! Letting your boss know that you're upset by this and convinced that it's all about you will also make you look overly-sensitive. I say let it go, forget about it, and move on.
