Resigning - how to say good bye to boss' bosses- HELP?

I have resigned from my job and unfortunately got caught up in emotion and let him have it on the way out - all true, but.... He does not have a good reputation within the company. I spoke with the president and he asked me to forward my info once I leave the company and that things are going to change at the company and asked if I would be willing to come back. Needless to say, I would like to maintain that relationship in addition to ones with the CMO and others from a future networking prospective. Would like to leave gracefully and "save face" as I know my boss slammed me to them. Please help.

    Thanks

Reply: You should probably just move on and find a job elsewhere. Once you burn bridges, no matter how "unliked" your boss is at that company, (s)he still works there, and you're the one who left. Also, unfair though it may be, word gets out that you don't get along with your supervisors and can't be counted on to maintain peace in stressful situations. Good luck.
