    My husbands horrible boss.

My husband comes home every night frustrated about work. He is job hunting but without much luck yet. His boss is absolutely horrible. When he started the job the boss told him that because he was in managment that he would get alot of perks. He has now excluded him from every work event that comes up. People in the company will call his office and ask why he and another manager from there office were not at the company event as every other manager was. He was just simply left out. They had a company party for families and my husband was assigned to work and come by to take left overs home if he wanted. The boss just hired a friend to work there and told her since she had a hang over she could just watch TV, and that my husbands job was to do everything. He will say things and then say he never said them, no matter what my husband does he is in trouble, if he works hard he still finds things to complain about. One time he accussed my husband of embesseling money, he showed him the books and he just said Oh. I could go on and on about him treating all of his employees just terrible and always screaming at them and be littling them. What can an employee do? If he went to someone above the boss it would get no respond, we already know that. How can he cope until he finds a new job?

Reply: He can cope by keeping his focus and energies on finding a new position leaving as soon as is realistic. This will minimize the impact of his current position. Gary - Badbossology.com Co-Founder
