I HEAD UP A CERTAIN AREA OF OUR COMPANY AND HAD TAKEN CARE OF A PARTICULAR PROJECT THAT HAS A DEADLINE OF AUG. 19. We had to set up a photo with a particular group, but I came to find out yesterday that the photo "shoot" had to be rescheduled PAST our own deadline. I passed this information along to two others in charge, one being my main boss. Both agreed and understood and said to 'go another route'. I alerted others to the same thing and went about my business with other plans. But the manager who has "raced" to the boss' office to tattle about things he and I have discussed took it upon himself to go to the very people I had set up the photo with and work for a change. They told me he was very persistent and didn't understand why it couldn't be done. That manager then informs me of that situation this a.m. I hit the roof after having taken care of it. He didn't let me know, didn't call, plus obviously didn't understand that his boss and my boss had already told me to "go another route." Long story short, I have become absolutely put out with dealing with him on things that he shows up on "at the last minute" or takes what I've done with something and "runs with it." I came to work this a.m. in a great mood and raring to go. I left in a very bad mood. And I've been doing this job for 20-30 years. No bragging at all, but I work with people well, try and get along with everybody and do the right thing. But this kind of "interference" is extremely disconcerting and tantamount to the "tattling" he pulled on me several months ago.
