Stop covering and buffering their stupid decisions..they will eventually expose themselves, as the idiots they really are.

Sure they will. But it won't make a difference. The idiots are there to make their bosses feel superior, not to actually do any work (that's for the rest of us). The idiots are there to take credit and assign blame. It's an art. It's hard to find a good idiot. Not everyone can do it. When a really good one is found, organizations are loathe to let them go. I work in a school grades pr-k-8. My principal/(Kindergarten teacher)thinks the students should be out on field trips and receive awards for everything they do. She is always having other schools visit us and she walks around playing hostess. The problem is she doesn't remember setting these things up and we 9secretary, cooks, custodian, bus drivers) are the ones scrambling and covering for her. This happens atleast once a week.

So why keep scrambling and covering for her?

you may want to refer your subscribers to the book,"Does A Social Path Live next door to you." The book says that one in 25 people are Social Paths and many of them are our leaders in Government and Industry. Do you work for one?

What do you do with a boss who micro manges and destroyes everything that you put together? You set up lunches with customers and he insists on tagging along and eats before the customer has been served, talks on the cell phone through out the lunch and then leaves without paying the bill? Then asks you to tell his superiors that he is going on all these lunches and setting up all these meetings. In his spare time he is telling your employees what to do, while destorying the relationships with customers that you have worked so hard to gain. He fails to follow through and the only time he will meet with you is when he is either lost or has to berate you. It is very frustrating!

My boss from Hades is in her own reality world -- she constantly makes statements, gives directions, and tells me (and others!) to carry out some instruction -- then changes it or totally forgets that we even had the conversation. She denies this, and I can't decide if she is truly crazy or a very good liar. Some cope by making fun of her behind her back, and some by becoming her minions and kissing incompetent butt. I am getting an ulcer.

My boss faked his way into his position and I had to train him, dealing with his arrogant, loud ways. Due to his miscalculated decisions has cost the company the loss of over $1 million, yet they continue to keep him. He relies on us to get the job done make him look good taking credit for our suggestions, initiative and drive. I thank God, that in my heart, I know what I'm worth. And just now getting my ducks in a row documenting all observations where he has been gone for an extended amount of time, coming in late, leaving early, complaints by others in his level. I will make sure that upper management hears the truth

To pineapple1, Good Luck! I did this with my incompetent boss. The head honcho came and interviewed employees and assured us things would get better. It took him three months to do anything. The result: boss was moved laterally, and new GM is just as incompetent and uncaring--maybe worse. It took hours to document and type it all out on my own time, and it was for nothing. I am disappointed and frustrated.
