Seeing Dishonesty of Character Is Sort of Demoralizing

We sometimes got temporary people in where i worked. The boss just hated it. The Temp people were a category of human beings who were "not good." She never used the same temp. She didn't keep a list of reliable people cos then she could keep judging them i believe.

What really got me, was when she said to the temps, "Oh, we'll give you a call again!" This NEVER happened.

2-faced? Dishonest? Couldn't help seeing this and other faults...so gave it up.

Reply: Found another way of looking at it. Maybe the part of her telling the Temp, we'll call ya, was a good person, saying stuff so people feel positive. it wasn't intentional dishonesty. it was sort of like a political diplomacy. she didn't connect it with honesty or such. maybe it's being judgmental, and assuming too quickly she was being purposefully dishonest when she wasn't. Thanks for this space!
