I am really impressed with Dr. Fiore's recommendations. The last one, change your perspective about the job, really hits home. For example, I can see this job as a career ladder OR merely as a great source of income that allows me to develop ideas and projects outside this workplace, make improvements on my house, whatever. That attitude reduces my expectations from this job - though I still am working on feeling emotionally comfortable with my boss in day-to-day relationships.
