Reply: Because i have been fired from just about every job i have had,and not because of my work or being out a lot,i dont lay out of work. i get along with everybody but the bosses,i dont take a lot of crap. i would like to know how to get around putting down all my history, and be able to get a job and try again.

Reply: sometimes you have to learn to get along with a boss unfortunately, have you considered starting your own business? Also keep in mind when companies call for references most employers will only verify dates worked and position held out of fear of being sued.

Reply: A way to get around bad job history: During the interview with the prospective boss--Tell him that you have had a bad work history (be honest) Tell him that was caused by personal reasons, and that you have learned your lesson and you want to prove to him that you are a dependable employee.. Tell him, that if hires you--You, will exceed! A lot of times if you get on a personal level with the interviewer they are human and understanding, it has worked for me. Now, some job positions they would just laugh at you, but some of the lower paying jobs it is better.

Reply: i hope that works, brad. i have thought that approach might help instead of feeling i have to back pedal or just not apply.it can be embarassing. i went through depression and anxiety attacks when i was in my 20's and walked out on too many jobs. i've never held a job longer than 2 years. now i'm a 34 year old man. i'm not having those kinds of troubles now. i often wonder if a prospective employer is judging or wondering if there will be problems in the future. it's just wierd for me i guess the worst people can say is "no". so all i can do is keep at it.
