    Giving a week of notice and they decide to get rid of me.

    I need to find out if this is legal. I recently gave notice and "management decided that today would be your last day." I needed to know if I am still owed in pay the one week that I would have been there.

    Reply: Many companies do this, whether or not they have to pay you is based on your states laws.
