I'm writing a story for Reader's Digest about dealing with difficult people at work. I would be very interested in either talking to or emailing with people who have found themselves in this situation. I have talked with Gary Lahey and he suggested I post my interest on the forum. If you'd like to share your story with me, email me at cm_cornwall@telus.net or call me at 604-986-3843. You can call collect and ask to speak to Claudia Cornwall.

Reply: What you're writing about is difficult people in general, but I have in mind more specifically toxic bosses. It appears that in the land of Demming and Drucker and the great business schools, there is no management oversight of these supervisors. What is needed for toxic bosses is a little courage from management, such as was needed at Abu Graibh.
