I have a problem with my new boss, whilst checking her emails for her(with permission) whilst she was out i came across a number of emails where she had been bitching about me to other people outside the company, atleast one of the emails was in regards to me being off absent fo one day..i printed them off but im not sure what i can do, surely what shes been doing is illegal somehow?

Reply: Keep them. Maybe see an employment atty now if you want. If your relationship with her is good, you may never need them - no need to rock the boat. If the relationship ever sours, these emails may be helpful. Steve
