Female owner sold out company to another woman

The company I worked for was recently sold, the office was informed and 4 weeks later the transfer took place. The new owner bought her people in and assured us all no one would lose their job. Surprise, the first guy went in the first week, then they were after me. They would make false statements. Anyway, on a Thursday at 8:00 p.m. I was asked who's office would I like to share? I was totally floored, of course this came from the owner's flunky, brown nosing helper. I told her I would get back to her, the next day at 9:30 a.m. the helper was in my office going through all my personal items, check stubs, pictures, wall plaques, etc. She had simply loaded my stuff up in a greasy bag and set everything outside my old office door. Well when I got the call of course I exploded. Long story short I feel this was the straw that broke the camels back. I had been there for 6 years, very loyal and this is how they treated me.

Reply: quit- you don't need that crap. I've been in an office where there were take overs, and they are ugly- and the people that are "left over" from the old owners usually get fired or they make it so they quit- the new owners never want to be reminded what it used to be like around here.........

Reply: Staggerlee - thanks for your response, I did quit and it was the best thing I ever did for me and my family.
