[Back to message list] [Reply to this topic] [Start a new topic] Bottom of the food chainPosted by: staggerlee i've been with a company 2.5 years now, had a lot of experience in the field and took over duties smoothly- I've proven that i know what i'm doing, and that i have good ideas and am competent..... BUT there seems to be a big divide between the "old timers" of the company, and the newbees- and regardless if it's a good idea or bad idea, it's immediately not considered because.... you haven't been here long ehough, you aren't management, you aren't this, you arent that... and it's always nice to be reminded how "low" you are on the corporate ladder.. which happens quite often to me.
so i say, why can they pile the work on and know that i'll do it, but i have to stick around for another 15 years in order to be heard?? any suggestions on how to get into the "club" and win some respect?
