Insecure Boss

I am an administrative assistant with twenty-five years in the clerical field. My boss is always telling me how to do my job and feels she must check to ensure I have set up meetings properly, ordered the appropriate food, and many other tasks associated with the position. I feel that she doesn't trust me to do my job, which I feel I am very good at. She hired me because of my experience and skills, yet she won't let me do what I am trained to do. I feel insulted and hurt that she doesn't trust me. She knows I only want what's best for the bureau and I'm willing to help her any way I can. Any advice?
