Help! New Boss Is Driving Me Crazy!!

    Posted by: mspm2004

I just started a new job and I love everything about it (the company, my coworkers, the offices) EXCEPT my new boss. I have been an Admin for 13 years and most of my bosses have been men - high level execs who have seen me as a trusted professional. My new boss is a sweet woman, but she is micromanaging everything I do! It's not just me, she does it to all the support staff! It's like she's always nervous about the outcome of her work, and she transfers this over to everyone else. I've tried talking to her, but I'm not sure if she can 'calm down'.

Anyone out there with experience in this area? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Reply: If she does it to everyone, there is not a whole lot you can do. She is probably a "mother hen" who does this in he pesonal life as well. Just be glad you dont have a woman boss who feels a need to act tough.
