    New Job

I have applied for a new position and you would think that it would be so easy since the environment I work in is negative, unhealthly and toxic. Even though, I enjoy the security of my paychecks and covered health insurance; However after 42 months of employment, I beleive I would like a change for a better paycheck and more responsibility. Then enters my fear, anxiety and self doubting. It would seem that I wouldn't have any doubt I would just run with it. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do? Should I just sit tight? Or should I just go for it!

Reply: faith, it isn't what WE think. It's about YOU. Consider asking yourself WHY do you have this fear, anxiety and self doubting. Is it because of the environment you have been in has destroyed your self-confidence (e.g. controlling micromanager)? If so, YES - move! Your environment is undermining your self-confidence and is poison.
