    The Desk Move

We moved one of our own desks to make room for boxes of charting we were to receive soon and our boss came in and fired us for insubordination. She said the CEO "told her too" as she also said we had made the office space we were in better. She also paid me for th cable I purchased to extend the Network to the "desk involved". Now Surgical Specialists of Oklahoma has left the entire company and contributing Physicians without any document management in any way. It was suggested to us that this act is a form of retaliation on the part of my coworkers own Step Mother whom ran to the CEO to complain a desk had been moved in our space. Moved less than 4 feet mind you. No policy against or warning was given to us regarding organization of our work space. We will see how unemployment views this but Oklahoma has very little employee protection as an At Will State. Any idea of how I can notify the Physicians without slander complaint.

    Thank you from OKC

Reply: Slander/liable complaints are only winnable if the slanderous/libelous statements made are untrue. So, why don't you just restrict what you say say to the Physicians to, "Surgical Specialists of Oklahoma have left the entire company" and let the Physicians draw their own conclusions/determine their own next steps from that statement? Also, just curious, why do you feel you have to be the one notifying the Physicians of this?
