she is only 256 years old and she is the boss of over 30 people, im her assistant, it pays good but its reallly embarrassing. Her chair is just soo big and tall, leather and it reclines and mine is just a small tiny fold up metal chair, u have no idea how small my chair is next to hers, she wont let me have a bigger one, why wont she? and i have to polish her heeled or heeled boots before her every meeting, its sooo embarrassing u have no idea, is that normal in business? That assistants polish their boss's shoes like 3 times a week or before meetings? and she always reclines in her chair and puts shoes up on the desk and files her nails and bosses me around i get soo embarrassed, i mean she is very pretty its just embarrassing

Reply: I hear you soulfly! My boss is the owner. She makes everyone feel small just to make herself feel big. She teeters around here on four inch heels thinking she's hot stuff and the best businesswoman in the world, I'd just love to push her over! I do like my job, it's just too bad that I work for her... Wouldn't it be nice if we could just replace these bad bosses so we didn't have to quit the jobs we like otherwise?

Reply: Soulfly, have you seen The Devil Wear Prada? Boy, could you relate!! ANyway, if it pays well and you only find the situation 'embarrassing' and you can still says she's pretty despite the fact that she's 256 years old, it sounds to me as if you could probably keep holding down your job alright. But you might want to keep a journal and write down in it all the incredible things you must do to keep Queen Elizabeth happy. Is she a good manager otherwise - know her stuff? There are worse jobs in the world, believe me.
