Support groups for hostile workplace victims
Posted by: freewoman

I just quit my job on Friday,in part, due to the hostile working atmosphere. Are there support groups for this and how do I find one in my area? I have searched all over the web not coming up with anything. I live in Nassau County, New York. I feel completely traumatized by this situation.

I know in Montgomery Alabama if the
Company is Non Union they can say
anything & get away with most
anything co workers are afraid
to help you. I have been thru the
same thing with past employers.
Almost every application it says
in small print that the
Company can terminate you without
just cause or reason & you are not
guaranteed any length of work.
That is what a Lawyer told me that
Non Union Jobs
have the right to terminate you for
any reason being slow what ever. No it
is not right being on the receiving
end of an attority abusing boss.
Here in Montgomery Alabama no rights
for workers I am sure it is about the
same there. You cant hurt someone
that is over you they can hurt you
found that out dont mouth back at
them or you will be gone like I am.
As for your coworkers dont tell them
anything personel about you. They
will use the information to hurt you.
If it is unbearable get out quit
before they fire you. Then you
will have a bad last employer bad
mouthing you. The least you say
is the best coping skills I have
had bosses yell out at me they want
you to say something back to them
so they can fire you. Co workers
will not help you if anything they
will use you as a ladder rung to
step up or move up. Dirty Politics
Nov 18 04 I hope you find a support
group I have not yet either
