How do you cope when the bosses wife works for the company, she is a nightmare !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She is so out of touch with the times, doing everything OLD SCHOOL. Not using the computer or open to suggestions from anyone. Talks rude to Managers !!!!!!!!!!!! She would be terminated if worked for anyother company. Her husband(CEO) chooses to ignore everything

Reply: You gather up enough evidence Mike, resign and Sue like I am doing. Its sexual harassment when she treats the male employees like dirt and the female employees like gold. Sounds like I worked at the same company as you do. =)

Reply: My sister was in the very same situation. She ended up taking classes, getting a degree in something else, and left the company. Just before she left, the husband - who was boss - asked her if his wife had been a 'problem' for her. She downplayed it, which she said later she regretted. Unless you're willing to take the bull by the horn and let your boss know the conflicts you are having with his wife, then there's not much that is going to change unless the wife herself has an epiphany of some kind and changes herself. Document what she says and does and take it to a lawyer to see what else can be done. Good luck.

Reply: I work for a physician whose wife is my office manager. She is a micromanager who never lets us forget that she is the bosses wife. We are told when to talk to him and where to stand. She yells and changes policy daily. He has been told and ignores it because it doesn't affect him cause he is out of office most time. How to handle this and what recourse do I have?
