    This place is crazy!

I started working for me and my husbands best friends, which is A NO-NO, I know this now. It is a small company but I have been here for 5 years now. The business is going downhill fast, now all we do is watch their destructive 3 year old and their rottweller puppy, that poops and destroys the place also. The place is disgusting from the smell and the mess, we just refuse to watch and pick up after them anymore. We are told that is our job and we work for "Him" and to get over it, he even went as far as to write us a letter telling us to "put a sock in it" because we started to complain about it. I am wanting so bad to find another job because I am losing my skills here, which means losing friends, but here lately I am finding I am starting to despise them just by thinking about it. Mondays are so hard to come into work. Help!

Reply: I turned down a job offer because there would have been a dog in the office. I an not an indoor pet person. The situation with the puppy is unsanitary, maybe you should ty explaining this to your boss. If you were to look for another job, I am sure and employer would understand that you left because of the working conditions. You were NOT hired to clean up dog poop! My other question, why do you want to be friends with these peole at all? Have you tried talking to your husband about all this? You are being taken advantage of.
