I work for a Canadian owned US bank. The message that we get from the CEO & his management group is great. They seem to be very employee focused. Unfortunately, the actions of the senior management in our division does not embody that vision.Open favoritism is so rampant that employees are fed up. Area managers who openly show favorism are not taken to task and that is because their manager does the same. HR department in this division is the worst. Lack of leadership from the management in this division is actually hurting the company. Do you think the CEO and his team are aware of this and if not what can we do about it?

Reply: What about contacting coporate HR in Canada? If you do this, make sure you have all your examples of poor leadership and favouritism etc. well documented first. Senior leadership (including senior HR leadership) acts best on problems that are detailed and factual (and therefore provable).

Reply: Favoritism is common in any business structure. If you can do your job, and function under your boss - not sure what you are asking.
