He is so stupid I want to scream

Today I'm having one of my really bad days. Have you ever had a boss so stupid and so annoying that you had a meltdown in the office because he just won't leave you alone? And doesn't catch the hint that you want to him to go away before you throw hot coffee in his face? I'm sure I'm not the only one. I'm currently looking for a new job but it's not happening fast enough. When I say my boss is stupid I'm not saying that to be mean. He really is stupid. He can't spell simple words. He thinks catalytic converter is pronounced cadillac converter. Yesterday we were talking about dieting and exercising. I've done my research online and have talked to people that go the gym frequently about this stuff. He's about 40 lbs overweight and he was trying to give me the stupidest advice I'd ever heard about exercising. He thinks he knows everything and that he's done everything too. I told him once that I was taking ballet classes. Well guess what, he just happened to know everything there is about ballet and that he was a ballerina himself. He swears he's a black belt in karate, a lisenced massage therapist, a volleyball pro, and so many other things I can't think of them all. If he is such a pro at all these things then why the hell is working with me in Central Ops delivering mail?!! You can't talk about anything without him saying he's done that before and that he's done it better. Same with the weather. If we get 3 inches of snow down here at the office, he'll say he got 12 inches by his house. Everytime. And he just never shuts up once he starts.

He can't even do simple tasks at work. I have showed him so many times how to properly print brochures. He still doesn't get it and prints them wrong. And the funny thing about all this is he thinks he's a genius! He's constantly micromanaging me as if it were my first day here everyday. But what he doesn't know is that I"m always at least 5 steps ahead of him when it comes to the workload. Even when he sees that I've gotten a lot done he still feels the need to micromanage and tell what to do. Like today I was getting ready to print some binder spines. My 7 year old nephew could do it. He pulls up a chair behind me and proceeds to instruct me on how to make spines. "Click here, type there" I've never wanted to punch someone so bad in my life. And if you tell him "Hey I think I got it" he doesn't catch the hint that I want to be left alone. I'm the only person that works with him so it's hard to get other people like his boss to see his stupidity. I can't wait to leave and I don't care about the effect it might have on the company leaving an idiot to take care of everything. I'm not training any new employees either. My boss will just have to try and remember himself how to print a brochure. That is if they can get anyone to stay long enough for training.

I feel better. Thanks for letting me vent.
