I work in a finance company in a third world country. The company is jointly owned by a Japanese firm and a local bank. My immediate supervisor is a Japanese who looks down and talks down on us. We've been very polite to him since it's really in our culture. But it seems that he perceives this as an avenue to treat us like idiots who have so less in life. He even asked me why we can afford to dine in restaurants when our salary is very small. Whenever there are occasions where the company sponsors our meal, he asks us if we've tasted such good food. Discrimination is already a part of our culture and we've accepted that when we live and work in another country. It is just so hard to be discriminated in your own country by somebody who doesn't deserve to be there.

Who are you to say they dont deserve to be there? It seems like you are discriminating against him for being Japanese, arent you?
