Aside from cultural/language differences, we have a serious problem with one manager who is inclined to violent rages. He screams at employees, threatens them, and has even tried to run over a warehouse temporary with a forklift. He claims he is "typical Japanese" and this is why he behaves this way. We desperately need suggestions for how to cope with this individual, as he isn't going anywhere and his manager (our President) is well aware of his behavior, but does not see the need for correction. We would appreciate suggestions from Anyone who has experience dealing with such personalities.
