    New supervisor - micromanager, plus!

Our team has a new Team Lead who just started a week ago. She has a very forceful personality and is very confident in her abilities. She will be mostly completing tasks that our boss doesn't have time for, but meanwhile, she wants to learn all aspects of our duties as well, as her position is to supervise my co-worker and I. The problem is that my co-worker has been here for a year and I've been here 4 years. We know what we are doing and do it well, but our Team Lead insists on emailing us, and also telling us, what to do and how it should be done. This is so irritating that we really are beginning to dislike her. When we try to talk to her about this, she defends herself and then won't let us speak, but tells us to stop interrupting her. We also feel like she's constantly monitoring our actions. Before she started last week, it was just my co-worker and myself, reporting to our boss. I'm normally an even-tempered person and there are very few people I don't like, but this woman is pushing me over the edge! Suggestions, please?
