my boss does not belong in the service industry

I have had many personal problems with my boss since I became pregnant. He has been nothing short of an _____ to me and a lot of other employees. We recently got a new general manager and when we complain about our server manager he always says he'll say something but he never does. My server manager and I used to get along fine but I never thought he was any good at management. He is very insulting and does not help the servers when we are busy, instead he will yell at us. Our schedule for the week does not come out sometimes until 8:30pm Sunday night and the schedule is for the next day. We both come from different political spectrums and he was in the military so he has that "Do as your told mentality" towards the servers or anyone he sees as "below him" There is also alot of verbal abuse going on that seems to bother some employees but all are too scared to say anything for they don't want to lose their jobs. Since my General Manager doesn't seem to want to help what should I do? Also, where do I go to find out what constitutes as harrassment in the workplace so I can let my fellow employees know?

Reply: I hate to say this but talk to a lawyer. I'm sure there is more going on then what you bring forward here. You hould not have to work under those conditions. Some people count on you feeling fearful of them/him. Don't show that your scared. Also, Document document document.
