my boss in a mirco manager

I'm a new member and a independent sales and marketing team. Key word here is "independent". However, the owners family memebr who is VP wants me to send him my itinerary. I am 100% commission and have also been a VP. I feel as if he lacks trust or confidents in me. To ask a successful professional for a daily schedule is insulting. It kinda hacks me off.

You could make up some completely ludicrous, fantasy-like schedule and see if he even notices. That will tell you whether he's just being a control-demon, or is actually interested in your daily routine. <<>> If he's an irritating person, or an ineffectual boss, it shouldn't matter to you whether or not he trusts you -- what do you care for the opinion of a fool? <<>> Why are you working on 100% commission? That sounds like a raw deal. I know, employers use the line that, this way, you can make *way more* than the minimum wage (relying on the drawing power of human greed) -- but a lot of the time, you're just basically working for free -- unless you've built up some kind of solid, predictable client base. <<>> If your boss is a jerk, and you enjoy working on 100% commission (I wouldn't, but hey, maybe it works great for you), then 1) avoid him as much as possible, but keep the attitude reined in when you *do* have to deal with him (it's just one of the hassles of the job -- I get the impression that many people don't much like their bosses), and 2) if he wants to do the chest-thumping dominance thing and asks you for a schedule, try the strategy above. He may just glance at it (your fake schedule), chuckle to himself that he got you to account for your day to him, and then roundfile it -- without ever reading it. <<>> Of course, this may also be a first step down a slippery slope that will soon have you wearing a radio transmitter, like one of those people subject to house arrest, so that he can track your every move (just kidding -- sort of). <<>> Just remember, the odds are pretty high that he's insecure, needs to prove to everyone that's he's "Da Man," and that he's probably not as intelligent as you. If nothing else, you might try feeling a bit of pity (mingled with amusement) for him.
