If you have a boss (who is also owner of the company) and deals directly with some top employees...and he/she is verbally abusive to a shocking degree....does one have a legal/lawsuit grounds?

Reply: The turnover in our organization is horrible....and we are losing great people because of our naricisstic boss. She treats everyone horribly (myself included) I am already being treated for depression and anxiety and this is making it worse. I am looking for another job myself, which stinks because I really love what I"m doing, but I can't take it anymore.....she is horrible to me..seems jealous and is constantly taking credit for my work. The past few weeks, she won't even look at me and pretty much ignores me (which is fine by me). Board members are started to "get it" because 70% of the staff has left since she was promoted to the "head" role. She's all about "her title" but doesn't really do a whole lot to help the organization succeed. She only cares about herself and that makes it difficult to do my job (being that I care about the organization). It's so hard.....she needs to be let go. Can anyone relate to what I'm going through?

Reply: I am not sure what you mean by a shocking degree...but if the comments are sexual in nature...related to appearance, gender, etc., I would consult with a lawyer. be prepared to repeat the comments in front of the lawyer and/or his or her staff.
