    Indecisive boss

My boss is very indecisive. I work for a company where change is constant, but I feel like my boss never sticks to a decision. I discuss with him challenges I'm facing with my projects and or questions on how to proceed (I am a junior person in my position) and we together figure out the solutions and how I should proceed. But then when we have meetings with the stakeholders of projects, he always sides with them and makes me look bad and like I don't know what I'm doing. Even if their point is in the opposite direction of what we discussed previously!

I just get really frustrated because it's hard for me to do my job well, when I'm always being told different things. I don't know what to do about it, should I say something in my meetings? Should I bring it up to him that I feel like he's always making me look bad? Generally I think he's a good guy and has a lot of great qualities and ideas, but I don't think he's a good leader because I feel like he's always changing his mind and never stands up for things. How can I go about this without offending him? Or should I just keep my mouth shut?

Reply: Is your boss low on the tetem pole at your company? Is he new or does he seem to be one with low selfestem?

Reply: Probably best to take your own advise and keep quiet and do your job to the best of your ability.
