Bullying boss? Give that job the boot

Why won't congress implement a law that PROHIBITS bullying at work. I along with a coworker have been bullied at work. I told them I had found another job and was leaving. (I really had not found another job but was taking time off to recover from the verbal & mental abuse thanks to my husbands well paying job I was able to do this) I am reading all these suggestions that the solution is to find another job, but FINDING ANOTHER JOB IS NOT A SOLUTION. People should not be allowed to treat others with any disrespect. We need laws that protect workers more. Bosses are not gods. The are not super people and do not deserve to get away with it.
