I need some help! I filed a case for work related stress disability and now they have sent many forms asking me to pinpoint the exaact date and time of my injury. How is one supposed to fill these out? Should I see a lawyer? Any help you can give would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I suggest that you first get feedback from the organization that you are filing your claim with. Then if you need help you could repost your request for feedback as a new discussion topic on the home page and provide details regarding why you filed and with whom.

Depends. You can see a lawyer and go through all the trouble of ticked off insurance companies who will make your life a living hell or bend over and take it. Mental issues become whole body claims. This really ticks off the whores in the insurance industry because they have more bribes with doctors and government. They actually have to work for the money they steal.

I have been on a work related stess leave, but unsure if workman's comp. would even recognize my case? I've lost over 20 lbs within 3 months, no appetite, nauceous, full of anxiety, depressed more than you can imagine. I've already seen a workman's comp pschiatrist, who thinks it may be a work relate stress case?

Yes I have just been fired from my job because a shop supervisor got up in my face and called me a MF er. And told me to hit him. I turned and walked off. Told my supervisor. He let me go. I am under a doctor care for this mental stress I am taking two different types of medications. Are they any thing that I can do? I have been treated this way for a year. I just couldnt take it any more that is why I went to the doctor

I was verbally assaulted at work and held hostage in a back room within our office as a peer berated, swore and threatened me. I immediately reported the incident to my supervisor who said that he wanted to handle the situation 'in house'. 8 Months have gone by and nothing has been done. I started seeing a therapist and am on several medications and I am also seeing a dermotologist b/c the stress is causing me to break out. Upper management as well as the HR dept are well aware of my situation, however have not administered any form of discipline to my attacker. She has not missed a day of work in regards to discipline since the incident 8 months ago. The enviornment is growing more histile than ever each day that passes and I am feeling more and more excluded and targeted by all. I would like to leave the company but mentally and emotionally cannot start looking for new employment, nor commence new employment for that matter. Do I have a mental stress case?

I've put up with a supervisor who is addicted to pain killers for years. I can't take it anymore. He's verbally abusive and insulting. You never know what level of drugs he's on from day to day. I get sick thinking about going to work. What should I do?
