Hello. I worked in a company that dealt with another company in the way of selling them phones and doing activations. On saturday, my co-worker answered the phone and said it was for me. When I got the phone this guy on the end just started screaming at me about the activations. I tried to explain but the person on the other end kept screaming so I hung up. Moments later my boss (who was on vacation) called and said that I had hung up on the owner of that company and that is was unprofessional and so on.

Well yesterday, the two bigger bosses who so happened to be his uncles came and told me that they had to let me go. But when I had started working there, I was told that I wouldn't even have to deal with this other company beyond the activations. So while they sat and talked with me I questioned how this guy even knew about me because we've never spoken and I've never dealt with him. The real answer- all the bosses were trying to enjoy their vacations and not deal with work. The owner of the other company probably called one of them to which they most likely replied "call ******". What do you think I should do? Go over everyone's heads to the owner of the actual company I work for or what?
