    Everyone out for themselves

I know that in corporate America, many people are out for themselves trying to get ahead of the game. I work for an International company that has a small office in the US, but has subsidaries around the world. In the US office, I have never witnessed the amount of back stabbing and finger pointing that goes on there. It is amazing how innocent people get fired because of someone else other than there direct supervisor who has gone to upper management with negative information. My own supervisor is the worst. She does not communicate important info to her staff, but she'll give that info to a sales rep who probably is using her just to stay on top of the info chain. The sales manager is socially and diversity challenged individual who appears to feel uncomfortable with people who are of another race, unless white Latino, thats ok.

Every day you walk around wondering if its your last day there, because you never know when you'll get a knife in the back. I just witnessed an employee of more than 5 years get canned because she was bamboozled by her own supervisor. I am working frantically to find a job with some peace of mind, because being an air traffic controller

comes with less stress than this place. The boosts diversity, but no one who fits under that category is in management, expect 2 women, 1 white and 1 Latino and their power is very limited. I guess this is my healthy way ti vent out work related frustrations.
