I work in a small retail store..parttime, thank God. I have two managers and they are both horrible people. I have to often put up with borderline verbally abusive behavior, temper tantrums...etc. I am often spoken too very rudely and my fellow employees often come up to me and say things like "I can't believe the way they talk to you." If someone says that to me one more time...I'm going to scream. So, last week I decided if they were going to be rude to me, I would call them on it. Of course now that I was ready...they were ok for the most part. I really love the store and the location. 95% of the customers are wonderful people...

    Anyway...just needed to rant.

Reply: I suggest you sit down with your supervisor(s) while things are "calmed down"... not in the heat of anger and reacting to their treatment of you... and let them know how you feel. Do it calmly, be in control of your emotions, and stick with the subject, don't go bringing in tons of side-issues. See if you can get them to see how their past treatment of you made you feel, and convey to them how much you want to succeed working there because you love the company, and the customers! good luck! Let us know how you're doing.
