    Boss interregates young people

I work at a retail store p/t I've unfortunantely been working there for almost a year. But for the last 8 months or so I've realized what a burden it's become. My boss is severley bipolar. She degrades her employees and blames us for the sales not being high enough. Why doesnt she ask the customers why they dont want to buy anything? My friend and I work together but she seperated us because apparently we talk, but not to the point where it interferes in our work. Meanwhile she talks to the other employees, while were working away. And yells at us when we happen to be in the same section of the store not talking. Shes threatened the whole staff with "don't think I don't know whats going on, I know ppl from this town." Her only spy is a key holder in our store, and they've become quite good friends. She just recently fired someone because their category wasnt clean. Which was BS, and got ppl from the store to spy on him from their cars the day before. I'd like to know what kind of person does this? She's so sadistic that we can only listen to certain music channels in the store, apparently the 90's station (like bsb, spice girls, mase etc) is too hardcore, because the "key holder" and her heard vulgar language apparently, which is BS and were not even alowed to listen to the disco station. It's like anything the staff likes they have to hate. She says the staff has to stop gossiping meanwhile shes the main contributor she critizes everyone. I dont get involved in work gossip but once i found out I was getting blamed for stuff and that I had no intelligence. It pretty much nailed the coffin to the grave. For 7.45/hr, I don't need that. This boss really needs to re-read the code of ethics. Either way Im planning on getting out of there. Just thought i'd share my experience like everyone else.
